MOBA Secretariat

The idea of a Secretariat was championed by the immediate past MOBA NEC and subsequently in ………….a house was rented on the Ringroad just opposite the then Randolph Motors. It was first managed by Mr. Charles Cobbina (’83) and then Mr. Quist (’67).

The Secretariat Board was the chaired by Dr. Isaac K. Chinebuah (’48).

In………the MOBA Secretariat moved to premises of Wesley House, the Headquarters of the Methodist Church Ghana.  It has since been operating from there.

The MOBA Secretariat serves as the operational wing of the MOBA National Executive Committee and the MOBA National Council and serves as the link between the School and MOBA.

The Secretariat among other things:

  • Creates and maintains an updated MOBA database
  • Sensitizes and create awareness among the Old Boys about the activities of MOBA.
  • Plans and facilitates the implementation of activities of MOBA.
  • Reaches out to Old Boys outside Ghana and involves them in the activities of MOBA.
  • Facilitates the involvement of MOBA in the School’s activities and development plans,
  • Fosters collaboration with other Alumni Associations.

The Secretariat is headed by the Executive Secretary who is assisted by two (2) Administrative Assistants.
