16th Edition of the Mfantsipim-Adisadel Fun Day Games
Exactly 31 years ago, on Saturday, July 11, 1992, the maiden edition of the Mfantsipim- Adisadel Fun Day Games was held at the El-Wak Stadium. The ceremonial kick-off was done by the late Justice P.E.N.K. Archer, then Chief Justice of Ghana (SANTA 44)
The event organised jointly by the Mfantsipim Old Boys Association (MOBA) and the Adisadel Old Boys Association (AOBA), brings together old boys, students, families, friends, and sports enthusiasts to mobilize resources towards the development of the schools. It also affords them the opportunity to renew and build friendships, create networking opportunities, foster healthy competition, promote sportsmanship, and strengthen the bond between the schools.
After a break, the Mfantsipim-Adisadel Fun Day Games resumes on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Ghana Armed Forces Sports Complex, Burma Camp from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The theme for the games is ‘Beyond the Rivalry: Uniting through Sports.’
The event will showcase a range of sporting disciplines, including football, basketball, and tennis. There will also be Jama Sessions and a Health Screening exercise.
The event is open to the public, and admission tickets will be available electronically and for purchase at the venue. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the development of the schools.
